I'll try to be short and to the point. I purchased an 02 Chrysler Town & County in March 2007. It's now June 2008 and the vehicle is not running. It's been in the shop 3 times for major repairs over the year, all of which had been covered under warranty. The work that is now required to get it up and running in good condition is going to cost me almost $7000. The car is not even worth that much. I purchased the best extended warranty you can buy, yet nothing is covered. One of the issues is the head gaskets are leaking, but the warranty company won't cover it because they say the leak is not bad enough. Another issue is the oil pan gasket leaking, which was suppose to have been fixed a couple of months ago and was covered under warranty at that time, but now for some reason they aren't wanting to cover it. I contacted MWhite who sold us the vehicle and he said he would see what he could do-even if it meant working out a deal on a trade. Well, he never got back to me. My husband called the sales manager and he basically said, "What do you want me to do?". The lack of support and the lack of concern over the fact that they sold me a vehicle that stops running and requires $7000 worth of work a little over a year after owing is just unbelievable to me. The mechanic told me that whoever owned the vehicle before me did not take care of it at all, which leads me to believe that the dealership had to have seen some of these problems before they sold it to me. Unless, they didn't inspect at all, which they say they do. I was also told, of course, that it was owned by an old couple that took care of it. I probably should've known better than to believe that. Well, lesson learned. This is the 2nd vehicle we've purchased from the Leith family of dealerships and the last. I have 3 small children and work full-time, so I don't have the time to fight with them any more than I already have, but I will tell everyone I know about my experience and post this on every review website I can find! DON'T BUY FROM LEITH!
